Women's History Month Spotlight: Jiljuana Coleman

Jiljuana (Jill) Coleman started her business - Jamerson Strategic Consulting in 2017. Since that time, she has evolved and emerged as a strategic and global business consultant serving companies locally and internationally. 

Jamerson Strategic Consulting is located in Memphis, Tenn. and it provides consulting on project management, continuity planning, business and economic development and capacity building.

In an article with Memphis Voyager, Coleman stated that she founded JSC as a solution for “Black-owned enterprises with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion. 

According to the website, Coleman serves clients in the areas of marketing, banking, retail, technology, government, nonprofit, engineering and construction.

“In 2024, JSC launched The C-Suite Takeover, a premium concierge service designed to help companies improve their international reach and gain a competitive edge in the global market,” said Coleman. 

The goal for the companies is to improve their global reach and achieve long-term success.

“The coaching is tailored to the company’s unique needs and challenges and offers advice designed to help the company make informed decisions about its strategy, operations and overall direction.” 

The company extends beyond the United States into Canada, Nigeria and South Africa.  As a global company, it provides expertise in ‘diplomacy, strategy, economic empowerment, and project management.’ 

Another project is The Pink Crown Initiative, a ground-breaking program that seeks to promote inclusion for women in international trade, according to a news release.

Coleman holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in International Management from the University of Tennessee and a master's of business administration with a concentration in International Business from Belhaven University and a certified in project management.
